OPINION

COHEN, Justice.

A jury found appellant guilty of aggravated robbery and assessed his punishment at 35 years confinement.

The record reflects that on August 27, 1984, the complainant and her husband were alone in their home when Deraid Jacob was allowed to enter the house, by identifying himself as a police officer. Once inside, Jacob pulled a gun on the couple and yelled to appellant and a third person, both of whom were armed, to enter the house. The three then rummaged through the house for nearly 90 minutes.
