RONEY, Circuit Judge:
This is an appeal by the defendants, Earl Tanner Fairman, Jr., Harvey Ray Hatcher, Loren Robie Wilson and Charles Stephen Cooke, from convictions involving a conspiracy to counterfeit rare United States coins. 1 Cooke was convicted only of conspiracy. Fairman was also convicted on ten other counts and appeals from these convictions: Five counts of counterfeiting United States coins, four counts of passing counterfeit or altered coins, and one count of altering a United States coin. 2 In addition to the conspiracy count, Hatcher appeals from a conviction for aiding and…
