The indictment in this cases alleges that the appellee is a corporation, organized under the laws of this state; that it owned, controlled, and operated a saw and planing mill plant, and logging railroad in connection therewith, and was engaged in the manufacture of lumber and the repairing of its machinery used in and about its plant and railroad; and charges that it worked one of its employees more than ten hours per day, not in a case of emergency or where public necessity required, contrary to chapter 157 of the Laws of Mississippi of 1912.
