|sThe state filed an application with this Court requesting a writ of prohibition to enjoin the juvenile court from exercising jurisdiction. We issued a writ of certiora-ri, stayed the proceedings in both the juvenile court and the district court, and ordered the parties to file briefs and appear for oral argument. The writ application reveals a disagreement between the juvenile court and the district court as to which court has jurisdiction. The issue is whether the juvenile court is divested of jurisdiction when a juvenile is indicted in district court at a time when competency proceedings…
