On the 6th day of June, 1930, in the city of Biloxi, Miss Susan Pearce, the appellee, was injured while rid .ing as -a passenger in a taxicab operated by the Yellow-Cab Company, her injuries having been received in, and due to, a collision between the taxicab in which she was a passenger and a truck of the appellant, Mississippi Ice & Utilities Company. She recovered a judgment for fifteen thousand dollars.
