Plaintiff-appellant Robert A. Aronson appeals from summary judgment by the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) suit. Aronson sought to compel the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to release information concerning individuals whose mortgages were insured under the National Housing Act and who are entitled to receive reimbursements, known as “distributive shares,” from HUD upon the termination of the insurance.
