On September 14, 1960, plaintiff filed a complaint in mandamus against defendant alleging that he had been illegally expelled from membership in defendant corporation, and asking the court to order that he be reinstated. He alleged that his expulsion was illegal in that it was conducted contrary to the bylaws and for insufficient grounds.
