GRAVELLE, Judge:

Pursuant to mixed pleas, the appellant was convicted of absence without leave, distribution of cocaine (two specifications), solicitation to possess cocaine, and using a telephone to facilitate distribution of cocaine, in violation of Articles 86, 112a, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 886, 912a, and 934 (1982 and Supp. V 1987) [hereinafter UCMJ], respectively.
