On the 2d day of August, 1888, J. H. Arthur brought an action of detinue against Frank Ingels before J. W. Taylor, a justice of the peace of the county of Cabell, for the re-coveiy of the possession of one horse, of the value of one hundred dollars, anda one. horse wagon, of the value of forty dollars, and ten dollars damages for the detention thereof.
