GUIDRY, Judge.
Plaintiff filed this suit seeking to recover a $1200.00 bonus payment paid by a mineral leasee, Texas Pacific Oil Company, Inc., (hereinafter referred to as Texas Pacific) to the defendant-mineral lessor. The defendant, Roy Martin Lumber Co., Inc. is the owner of the tract of land which was leased to Texas Pacific. Plaintiff avers that the $1200.00 is due him because he is the owner of the minerals underlying the tract of land leased and owned by the defendant.
