The original libel in this cause was filed against the steamship Yuma to recover damages arising out of a collision in St. Clair river on September 21, 1900, at about 7:30 o’clock p. m. The navigable channel is 700 feet wide at this point in question. The Yuma collided with the two-masted schooner John Martin, which was in tow of the steamship Morris G. Grover. A cross-libel has been filed on the part of the .Yuma against the Grover.
