—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Lagaña, J.), rendered December 19, 1990, convicting him of murder in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Viewing the evidenced adduced at trial in a light most favorable to the People (see, People v Contes, 60 NY2d 620), we find that it was legally sufficient to establish the defendant’s guilt. Significantly, an eyewitness to the attack largely corroborated the defendant’s pre-trial statements to police that the victim was fatally stabbed in the course…
