O’NIELL, Chief Justice.

This is a suit for damages for the death of the plaintiff’s child. He was eight years of age at the time of the accident. While riding in a motor truck in charge of two employees of Edward McCann and Malcolm R. Patterson, defendants in this suit, the child became frightened at the thought of being carried away from his home, and leaped out of the truck. He suffered a fracture of the skull, and died about an hour afterwards. The suit is against Me Cann and Patterson, owners of the truck, and the Maryland Casualty Company of Baltimore, Md., the liability insurer. The…
