Plaintiffs, husband and wife, citizens of the State of Maryland, have instituted this tort action against two defendants, both corporations of, and having their respective principal places of business in, the District of Columbia. Plaintiffs allege that plaintiff husband was injured due to the negligence of defendants and that plaintiff husband individually, and the plaintiffs jointly, were damaged thereby.
