Gary Mark Bellor was charged with negligent homicide, MCL 750.324; MSA 28.556, on January 29, 1980. He was arraigned before Bay County District Judge Paúl Harvey, the codefendant in this action, on February 6, 1980. At the outset of the preliminary examination on February 14, 1980, Judge Harvey learned that the prosecutor refused to give Bellor’s attorney copies of the police reports.
