The Hanford Guards Union of America, Local 21, is appealing from the trial court’s dismissal of its action for an order directing the General Electric Company to arbitrate a controversy between the parties. The controversy allegedly involves interpretation of provisions of the collective-bargaining contract between the parties and the *492scope of their agreement to arbitrate such matters. We shall refer to appellant as the Union and to respondent as the Company.
