DENMAN, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal by the Silver Line, Limited, a British corporation, describing itself as both “owner and operator” of the British motorship Silver Palm, from a decree denying its petition for exoneration from and limitation of liability for damages following a collision between the Sil-' ver Palm and the United States cruiser Chicago. The collision occurred in a three-vessel maneuver in the fog off the California coast and in the steam and sailing trafficway between the Port of San Francisco and the Port of San Pedro.
