BURNS, Chief Justice.

Defendant-Appellant David Thielen (Defendant or David) appeals the family court’s April 24,1997 Judgment against him in favor of Plaintiff-Appellee Susan Thielen (Plaintiff or Susan) in the amount of $24,214.72. We affirm.

We decide that where the payor-spouse has been ordered by the court to pay a total of $57,600 in spousal support in thirty-six (36) monthly installments and, on October 27, 1994, when the payor-spouse owes $16,614.72 and will owe an additional $1,600.00 on November 1, 1994, and an additional $1,600.00 on the first day of each month thereafter through…
