Date: March 3, 2026 We’ve made our pricing simpler and cheaper! Exa’s search endpoint previously charged separately for search results and their webpage contents. Now, contents for 10 search results per request are included for free, and as a result API usage is cheaper for the majority of users. We’ve also reduced the cost of Exa Deep by 20%.
- Search with contents: $7 per 1000 requests with 10 results. Text and highlights are included. $1 per 1000 additional results beyond 10.
- Summaries are billed separately at $1 per 1000 summaries. This applies to both search and contents endpoints.
- Exa Deep is now $12 per 1000 requests. The new Exa Deep (Reasoning) is $15/1000 requests. Text and highlights for 10 results per request are included for free.
- The contents endpoint is still available as a dedicated endpoint at $1 per 1000 pages per content type.
