As Co-Founder & President (2008–2014) and board member, Pankaj Chaddah was instrumental in shaping Zomato’s early product strategy and marketing, enabling the company’s rapid initial growth across India and subsequent global expansion. Pankaj’s leadership in product and consumer insights established strong foundations for Zomato’s brand and user engagement.
A graduate of IIT Delhi, Pankaj Chaddah later founded HyperPure and has invested in over 20 startups such as DeHaat and Infra.Market. He serves on several boards and brings a wealth of entrepreneurial and consumer-tech experience to the Zomato executives team.
As CFO since April 2017, Akshant Goyal has overseen Zomato’s financial strategy, corporate development, and investor relations, guiding the company through its successful public offering and raising over $1 billion in post-IPO capital. His stewardship has reinforced Zomato’s position with robust financial planning and disciplined growth management.
Holding a Commerce degree from Delhi University and with over 15 years’ experience in finance, Akshant previously led Corporate Development at Zomato and worked at EY as a consultant. His expertise in finance and strategy has been essential for the Zomato management team in scaling and navigating new challenges.
Since joining Zomato in 2015 and becoming CTO in 2022, Ganesh Krishnan has spearheaded the development of Zomato’s AI-driven recommendation engines, enhanced logistics algorithms, and built technology infrastructure capable of processing over 20 million daily orders. His leadership has been critical to the company’s digital transformation and operational scalability.
Ganesh is an alumnus of IIT Bombay (B.Tech Computer Science) and IIM Calcutta (PGDM), with prior technology roles at Goldman Sachs. His expertise in distributed systems and machine learning underpins the technology-first approach of Zomato’s leadership.
Appointed CMO in January 2024, Namrata Sinha led Zomato’s brand repositioning through integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels, resulting in a 35% surge in loyalty program memberships. Her focus on customer-centric campaigns has further strengthened Zomato’s brand presence and market penetration.
Namrata holds an MBA in Marketing from the Indian School of Business. She began her career with Procter & Gamble, was previously head of marketing at Swiggy and Myntra, and brings more than a decade of consumer brand experience to the Zomato management team.
As COO of Food Delivery since March 2023, Rahul Ganjoo has managed the end-to-end delivery network, optimizing rider efficiency to slash average delivery times by 20% and improving on-time fulfillment to 95%. Rahul graduated from XLRI Jamshedpur (MBA) and NIT Trichy (B.Tech Mechanical). Before joining Zomato as Head of Operations in 2019, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, specializing in supply-chain transformation.
