As CTO and co-founder, Amin Ahmad drives the technical architecture and guides the product vision of Vectara’s neural search platform, overseeing core model R&D and scaling enterprise infrastructure. Amin holds S.B. and M.S. degrees from MIT in Computer Science. As CPO, Eva Nahari leads Vectara’s product strategy and go-to-market for AI models and APIs, taking initiatives such as achieving Gartner recognition and building out strategic advisory boards to scale enterprise customer engagement. Eva’s leadership in the Vectara management team resulted in robust product roadmaps and successful launches that positioned Vectara as a category leader.
Eva earned her M.Sc. in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and spent nearly a decade leading product and GTM for distributed search and NLP at Cloudera. She was also Principal at DNX Ventures and is an expert deep tech investor and mentor, bringing valuable perspectives in AI product management and commercial scale-up to Vectara’s leadership.
As a board member, Pegah Ebrahimi offers vital guidance on growth strategy and investor relations, enabling the Vectara executives to advance fundraising efforts and international expansion. Pegah holds a B.Sc. from MIT and is a Co-Founder & Managing Partner at FPV Ventures. Previously, she was COO at Cisco and held senior leadership roles at Morgan Stanley. As Head of Field Engineering, Justin Hayes leads Vectara’s customer engineering teams and oversees enterprise deployments, SLAs, and support channels. He built out the field enablement and support processes that help clients scale cloud, VPC, and on-premise solutions, underpinning customer satisfaction and successful implementations.
Justin earned an M.S. in Computer Science from George Mason University and held multiple product leadership positions at Cloudera, including Head of Data Warehouse Product. His domain expertise: enterprise analytics, data platforms, and cloud service delivery.
As Head of Growth Marketing, Lance Wills designed and executed Vectara’s demand generation and content strategy, resulting in a threefold increase in qualified leads. Lance also established key strategic partnerships and event marketing programs, amplifying Vectara’s market visibility.
Lance is a University of Colorado Boulder graduate (B.A., MCEN) and previously led growth marketing at Datatron and was VP of Marketing at DeltΔgency. His specialization in SaaS growth, digital marketing, and brand development brings a competitive edge to Vectara’s go-to-market leadership.
As Head of Front-end Engineering & UX, CJ Cenizal is responsible for Vectara’s platform usability, heading the design of developer dashboards and analytics interfaces. CJ implemented user-centric design initiatives, significantly improving developer adoption and customer satisfaction.
CJ holds a B.A. in Design from UCLA and was formerly Staff Engineer at Chronosphere and held management positions at Elastic. His focus on front-end strategy and UX research directly enhances the intuitiveness and appeal of the Vectara product suite.
