Terry spent 21 years at Microsoft, culminating as Executive Vice President on the Senior Leadership Team, where he led Windows, Xbox, and Office 365 development. After Microsoft, he advised Madrona Venture Group and Carlyle Group on technology investments, co-founded the internet pioneer Intersé (acquired by Microsoft), and holds a BE from Duke University, where he serves on the Engineering Board of Visitors.
Jay Nanduri, Truveta’s CTO and co-founder, oversees engineering, de-identification, AI/ML, security, privacy, and compliance, driving the technical platform that enables the company’s mission of "Saving Lives with Data." He has led the development of the underlying data and AI infrastructure essential for electronic health record research and secure platform operations.
Prior to Truveta, Jay was a Microsoft Technical Fellow with 25 patents and led initiatives like Dynamics 365 Fraud Protection and Supply Chain Insights, as well as critical Bing engineering projects. He built cloud-based ML graph platforms for Microsoft’s e-commerce systems. Jay holds an MS in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology (India) and an MBA from The Wharton School.
As Chief Medical Officer and co-founder, Ryan Ahern leads the Life Science Partner team, forging partnerships and ensuring research success with Truveta data. His clinical insights have been pivotal in shaping Truveta’s offerings for life science and academic collaborators, ensuring relevance and rigor in the use of real-world data.
Ryan served as Head of Corporate Development and Data Strategy at Clarify Health Solutions, focusing on M&A and strategic partnerships. Previously, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey’s Healthcare Strategy and Corporate Finance Practice. He holds current clinical roles at UW School of Medicine, is a practicing physician at Harborview Medical Center, and trained at Massachusetts General Hospital, Weill Cornell, and Harvard Medical School.
As Chief Growth Officer, Sally Omidvar leads product management, design, clinical informatics, marketing, and communications, amplifying Truveta’s growth trajectory. She grew the Partner Research and Success team, driving both customer success and broader adoption of Truveta’s research insights.
Previously Field CTO for Healthcare and VP at DataRobot, Sally directed AI-based public health initiatives with Google.org and Gavi, and developed NLP-based disease risk models at Praedicat. She spent nearly a decade as a research scientist at the CDC and holds an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford along with dual MPH degrees from Emory University.
As CFO, Fabien Mousseau manages Truveta’s financial planning, reporting, and investor relations, ensuring efficient capital allocation and sustainable growth. He oversees all financial operations, supporting the company’s rapid expansion while maintaining fiscal discipline.
Prior to Truveta, Fabien held senior finance roles at health tech startups and consulting firms, focusing on financial modeling, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. He is experienced in scaling businesses through investment rounds and holds both an MBA and CPA certification.
Deb Nielsen leads Truveta’s people strategy, guiding talent acquisition, organizational development, and cultivating an inclusive culture. She has built HR frameworks that support both rapid scaling and high employee engagement, crucial for Truveta’s success.
Before Truveta, Deb served as Senior HR Consultant at Swift HR Solutions and Vice President of Employee Experience at OfferUp. Earlier, she provided HR expertise to a range of startups and scale-ups, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound.
Simonne Lawrence oversees legal and regulatory compliance for Truveta, ensuring alignment with intricate healthcare laws and advancing privacy standards. She has developed comprehensive compliance strategies that are critical to the company’s approach to data governance and secure platform use.
Simonne served as VP, Healthcare Regulatory at Rite Aid and Deputy General Counsel & VP of Compliance at Elixir, where she led privacy, data protection, and audit functions. She previously worked at CMS and in private and public sector healthcare roles. Simonne holds a JD from Florida State University College of Law, a BA from Duke University, and is Certified in Healthcare Compliance.
John Coleman drives Truveta’s growth in device and health tech partnerships, securing new customer engagements and expanding the company’s ecosystem of collaborators. His strategic leadership supports Truveta’s ongoing expansion into new healthcare innovation sectors.
John previously led life sciences sales at Veradigm, Optum Life Sciences, and IBM Watson Health, adding substantial experience in health technology sales and partnership development. He holds a BA from Rutgers University.
Ellie Lampton leads Truveta’s public relations and research communications, shaping the narrative that showcases Truveta’s impact and partnerships. She has expanded the company’s media reach and helped establish Truveta as a thought leader in healthcare data analytics.
Ellie was previously Director of Communications at Truveta, Senior Communications Manager at Microsoft, and Alliance Marketing Group Manager at Avanade. She completed her BA at Seattle University.
Margaret W. leads Truveta’s academic and government partnerships, expanding research collaborations and enabling real-world data solutions for public health and policy initiatives. Her work strengthens Truveta’s position in both research and public sector impact.
Previously Director of Life Science Solutions at Clarify Health Solutions, Margaret has over eight years of experience in academic and government research partnerships. She holds a BS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
